With its Type 23, Importer of High-Explosives, Federal Explosives License, OEC can facilitate the import of traditional explosives such as TNT, dynamite, C4 plastic explosives, detonating cord, detonators/blasting caps, fuzes, smokeless & black powder, and more for both private and government customers.
While the import of explosives is fairly simple from a regulatory perspective, the logistics of moving high-explosives internationally, are incredibly complex
Less-Lethal Imports
Most non-Destructive Device pyrotechnic less-lethal weapons such as CS & smoke grenades, 37/40mm less-lethal rounds, etc; are regulated as explosive materials by the ATF. While these are much easier to import than Destructive Devices, the logistics of moving them can pose a challenge.
