Explosives Imports
With its Type 23, Importer of High-Explosives, Federal Explosives License, OEC can facilitate the import of traditional explosives such as TNT, dynamite, detonating cord, detonators/blasting caps, fuzes, smokeless & black powder, and more for both private and government customers.
Importing plastic explosives has some challenges, but can also be done.
While the import of explosives is fairly simple from a regulatory perspective, the logistics of moving high-explosives internationally, are incredibly complex
Less-Lethal Imports
Most non-Destructive Device pyrotechnic less-lethal weapons such as CS & smoke grenades, 37/40mm less-lethal rounds, etc; are regulated as explosive materials by the ATF. While these are much easier to import than Destructive Devices, the logistics of moving them can pose a challenge.
As an explosives importer, OEC is able to import both these and NFA controlled Destructive Device.
Fireworks Imports
OEC does not typically deal with fireworks. But we are capable of importing fireworks for qualified customers.
