Sporting Ammunition Imports
As an ATF licensed ammunition importer, OEC can import all manner of sporting ammunition for commercial customers. Though due to the difficulty of Hazmat transport, we generally do not import anything less than a pallet of ammunition.
Armor Piercing Ammunition Imports
OEC is an armor piercing ammunition importer. Yet, ATF generally will not approve the import of "non-sporting" ammunition such as tracer and armor-piercing ammunition. However, such ammunition can be imported for government customers and for commercial customers under narrow circumstances for Research & Development purposes.
OEC can assist with securing authorization for such ammunition to be imported.
Destructive Device Ammunition Imports
Most all ammunition for Destructive Devices is classified as Explosive Materials by the ATF, and is generally non-importable. However, an ammunition importer can import such ammunition is importable for government customers, and for private customers under narrow circumstances.
